National
activity
.Since
1987 it is the resident orchestra of the Festival della Valle
d'Itria in Martina Franca and between 1995 and 1998 it was the
guest orchestra of the Arena Sferisterio in Macerata Opera. It
was also the resident orchestra of the season of 'Concerts Telecom
Italia' in the Sistina Theatre in Rome between 1996 and 1998.
The Orchestra Internazionale dItalia has performed with
the principal Italian Festivals, Theatres and Concert Season,
in Turin, Ravenna, Bologna, Neaples, Rome, Ferrara, Pesaro, Potenza,
Taranto, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Mantova. From 2003 it is the resident
Orchestra of the Ventidio Basso Theatre in Ascoli Piceno.
International activity
Since
1997 it developed an intense activity abroad, giving more than
200 concerts in Europe, Asia, Central and South America. The Orchestra
has also been present in China, Cuba, Malaysia, Thailand, South
Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao, with several Symphonic
and lyric tour during the last seven years, entitled On
the steps of Father Matteo Ricci, with more that eighty
concerts and lyric performances in the main cities of the countries.

productions
The
orchestra took part in more than 30 TV programmes (among which
4 in World broadcast and 2 in Eurovision) in Italy, Spain, Brazil
and China and it has made almost 70 CD recordings for Italians,
Spanish, English, Japanese, New Zealand, German and Thai labels.
The Orchestra Internazionale dItalia has been awarded
the European Prize for Culture as Symphonic Orchestra 1997
